A small restoration project making a big impact.
Waiting shelters are essential on the Settle Carlisle line. The changing weather has to be experienced, but sometimes it is better to be inside. Inevitably the weather takes its toll, and maintenance is essential to keep the buildings in good condition. New front panels were installed in 2017 to the original MR designs. All work was carried out by volunteers using working methods approved by Network Rail.
